It's Fashion Ad Friday! the Hot or Not? Edition

Welcome to Fashion Ad Friday, the Hot or Not? Edition. You didn't know it was Fashion Ad Friday, the Hot or Not? Edition today? That's because I just made it up.

Alright, the way that this works is that we have a few different fashion ads targeting both men and women and I want to know whether you think the ads are Hot or Not?, meaning is the overall presentation effective, meaning does the ad make you want to rub your naughty bits all over the model, which we all know is the point of most fashion ads anyway. Let's begin.

Paco Rabanne "1 Million" Fragrance for Men

Appar, this commercial has existed for quite some time. Maybe due to the fact that I was living in the hills of Pennsylvania with the mountain people and was not in New York for an extended period of time, I never saw it. Now that I have, I have probably watched it 1,237 times.

This is a conservative estimate. Anyway, I say the commercial is HOT. Here are my reasons: Mat Gordon. The Unabashed Celebration With Everything That Is Wrong With Our Culture. Belted Trench Coats. What are your thoughts? Now ladies...

"Miss Dior" by Christian Dior

I would love to say that this commercial with the Lady of Stunningly Perfect Skin and Baby By Possibly Skeevy Ballet Dancer Natalie Portman is hot, but in all honesty, I have to go with NOT. It's not that it's not beautifully done, it's just that it's too beautifully done. Natalie, sweetie, next time let's try not to act sexy and instead simply be sexy. Did we learn nothing from "Black Swan"?

Gents...

Dolce & Gabbana "The One"

All I will say is that upon seeing this commercial with my mother, she said "Matthew McConaughey looks good." I said "At least he's wearing a shirt." Mom: "It's how he fills out the shirt." Me: "Ewwwwwwwww..."

Anyway, I disagree with Mom. I think this commercial is a NOT. Matt McC looks greasy and seems to be acting from his chin and while yes his body looks good, I could see his body anytime by being around him at almost any point of time in his life. I think I'm good. Thanks anyway.

Finally, ladies...

Christian Dior "L.A.dy Dior," which is a campaign? Bag? Fragrance? Who knows. Does it really matter? No, right?

I'm gonna come right out and say this commercial is a HOT. Marion Cotillard really has no business being this beautiful, poised, and gifted in an extended ad for something that we're not sure what it is anyway. If for nothing else, this commercial is a HOT simply for this face and this face alone...

Exactly.

Question Time: How would you grade these commercials? Are there any fashion ads that you think are totally hot or similarly totally trash?

The 1st ad: Definitely HOT. But, I'd rather rub myself all over the car than the model.

2nd Ad: Insanely hot and so much better than the version where he keeps his shirt on. There's a reason why he's topless at every opportunity. I would be too if I looked even a little like that.

3rd ad: More sweet than hot.

4th ad: HOT. Marion is luminous.

All 4 ads are hot however I personally prefer the second one as well. Oh well, who can resist the beauty of Natalie Portman by the way? She's really hot on this vid, as well as her partner.
