Tyra Sanchez (above) is the winner of Season Two of "RuPaul's Drag Race"!
Sorry this is a little late. I'm about to say something particularly snobby. I just got home from a "Drag Race" viewing party in the city that I went to at the last minute so it was me and a room of a bunch of other gay men screaming at the TV. Thus, I wasn't able to post right after the announcement was made. But now I am. And now I am about to eat something that I don't often eat: humble pie.
I was wrong. Like all wrong. I should have realized Ru wouldn't have passed up another chance to crown a mini-her. But I honestly was still thinking Raven until the Lip Synch for Your Life when Tyra really did turn it out. I just never thought Tyra did anything else that well so I was sliiightly rooting for Raven, but I'm happy for Tyra. She has the heartwarming story so I am happy her and her babe will never go hungry again!
Plus, her final look was beautiful. As one of the gay men I was surrounded by said when she first walked out: "She looks like Miss Venezuela. Fierce!" And hopefully Juju didn't need stitches for that eye! Oh and do you know who else is a winner...

I thought Raven would get the crown, cuz she did so many looks but maybe that nasty streak shone thru to Ru's deep probing eye in the end. Despite the STAR! quality. Um ..humility!?! ya-okee
Poor Joob, about the eye but not about losing. Juju is so funny and loveable and even approachable that she has an army of fans loving her, including me! WOOO!
Congrats to Tyra, I love looking at her. Not too interesting performance wise but maybe looking is enough. And I like that the personality and little sweetness and cuteness did get to be seen behind the makeup.
Did you see the end of Untucked? I was floored by that last tidbit from raven, holy crow! Lost my fanboy feelings for her right there.
I was so surprised and amused that Earl Hickey decided to leave the trailer park and become a choreographer.
Ooh, Ermine! I missed the end of Untucked because I had to go to sleep. What happened with Raven? I could catch it online but it's more fun talking about it with you!

After Tyra won and her and Raven were backstage undressing and taking their faces off, Tyra was trying to make friendly, seemingly normal chit chat with Raven, and Raven just looked mad and wouldn't reply. Basically ignoring Tyra, with flames... on the side of her face, Raven wrote on the mirror, "Keep looking to the stars, because you will never be one". Can you believe that!? (clapping hands to cheeks) I was floored, shocked and totally put off.
OOH! I didn't see that! Yeah, when I was watching the Reunion, I could see that RuPaul wouldn't pick Raven because she said too much negative stuff. Wow, that's amazing tho!
I also thought that Raven goin to win it because she just have everything what it takes to be a drag queen! And shes consistently 'Raven'! But im at the same time not dissapointed with the result tho! Tyra is consistently fierce, came out with fabulous look every week! She just so know how to look beautiful with gorgeous make up especially the glittery eyes!! Love it!! The top 3 this season is appropriate, they all deserved it!! RDR season 2 was much much better than the first one! Yeayy
