FINALLY!

The girl's had hit song after hit song, inspired a viral video craze, starred in Oscar-nominated movies, is soon to appear in the Best Movie Ever, is incredibly beautiful and much more talented than Blake "I Can't Believe They Gave You a Cover" Lively, but she'd never been on the cover of Vogue before. Until now. Now presenting, Beyoncé on the cover of Vogue.

It's a great shot and despite the naysayers, the cover is neither racist nor sexist. Like Bette Midler sings in "Rochelle, Rochelle": "When the naysayers nayed, you said 'Nothing's gonna stop me, so get outta my face!'"

Wow, Michelle Obama last month and Beyoncé for April. Is Vogue trying to get on my good side? I dunno, but we'll keep evaluating...

"Real women have curves" but Vogue can show you how to nip/tuck to design a "perfect body." Don't have a weight obsession but make sure your legs look long and you have leaner lines.

Beyonce looks great here, but there is way too much contradiction on just the cover of this magazine. I need Vogue to stick to fashion, I think.

Totally Lauren, I agree with you, but I tend to treat Vogue like that racist grandma we all know. Sure she'll still use derogatory names when referring to different races from time to time, but she's much less hateful than before.

It's slow progress but we're getting there.

This cover is long overdue. Beyonce is the it girl of this decade and her generation. She has it all. They would have been privy to put her on it sooner, but this is a good time. Hope to see her on it many more times.

Totally agreed, Mr. FAMU! They really could have put her on the cover years ago but I'm just glad they did...

Hi Sam! I completely missed that opportunity to work in the Etta James reference! Good work!

I'm not feeling her mouth in this pic. Everything else is stunning, but the mouth looks forced and tense. Her neck is gorgeous.

Hi Allan! Her neck is gorgeous and I see what you're talking about with the mouth. Maybe Anna Wintour was off camera yelling that she was too large at a size 10 to be on the cover and Bey was trying to hold her tongue...
