Classy Moment of the Day

I've decided that the blog needs to be classier...

Above is the Vienna Philharmonic led by Count Nikolaus Harnoncourt of Austria performing Symphony No. 41 in C major ('Jupiter'), K. 551: Allegro vivace by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. There is no way to make this any classier.

In truth, I was rocking out to some Mozart on the subway today and thought I'd share. Is it still classy if I'd totally drop it like it's hot while listening?

No, not as classy. I understand. Oh, you can listen to part 2 here.

Also, if there are any classical music buffs in the audience, let me know.

(p.s. don't worry, we have a full day of music tomorrow. This is a special treat!)

Pardon me, but do you have any Grey Poupon?

LOL Allan! It's classy, no?

It just kind of makes you want to put on white gloves and tails and hold up your opera glasses to see the conductor. You need that kind of old-school glam every once in awhile...

But of course darling! Plus Mozart is a popstar with major staying power.

Totally Allan. He was definitely the tabloid celeb back in his day... But he had the talent to back it up.

Which makes me wonder, how come people don't write symphonies anymore?

Attention spans have grown smaller. These are the dumbing down years. Take a look around. Some people believe being able to see Russia from your kitchen window makes you experienced in foreign affairs.

LOL and crying at the same time, Allan! I was hoping you'd say "Oh of course people are writing symphonies, it's just hard to get them performed." But I think your answer is what's really true...

I would love to see you dropping it on the subway. It would be heartwarming and smile inducing. Having a look of sincerity and calm confidence on ones faces would keep it classy. No hoochie lips. Why if there was a subway in my city Id totally try it! I don't think doing it on the transit bus would go over well.

LOL ermine! Hi! That comment is hilarious btw! Okay, I get it. The act of "dropping like it's hot" is fine, it's you just want to concentrate on the face. As long as that's classy, you're good.

Yeah, a subway moves around a little, but droppin it on a bus could be dangerous.

That's right elegance in the face, and smile with your eyes and its class up the ass.
You realize that now all of your readers are going to be in front of their computers attempting to drop it hotly, at least once.
And to that I give an overenthusiastic high five!

LOL ermine!

If anyone wants to send me a video of them droppin' it like it's hot, please do! But I must caution everyone that it's a hard dance. You need a lot of strength in your thighs and good knees or you'll really hurt yourself!
